Psychologist Dr. Joachim (Joe) Reimann, PhD, has served as a QME for over 12 years. In this arena he has conducted both Panel QMEs and Subsequent Injuries Benefits TrustFund (SIBTF) evaluations.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Reimann’s professional opinions are grounded in first-hand public and private sector labor force experience. This includes 12 year as a Senior Counselor at a federally supported workforce development agency (local government and a Private Industry Council), formal doctoral-level training in industrial/organizational psychology (including a dissertation addressing career development), and several management positions that entailed hiring authority.
Dr. Reimann has also been active in multiple other med-legal arenas. These include 8 years of service as a Senior Clinical Psychologist and Manager for San Diego County’s Juvenile Forensic Services. In this and other contexts Dr. Reimann has conducted psychological evaluations for juvenile and adult criminal courts as well as in personal injury cases. At present, he continues to work in a full-time clinical practice.
I have been working with Robert Schacht and his staff for a little over 12 years. Right after becoming a QME I tried to bill on my own and quickly learned that the morass involved was never ending. Innova Exams took that over and I have had no problems since. Robert and his staff handle all aspects of the QME process - from evaluation, scheduling and setup to billing with professionalism, skill, flexibility, and efficiency. If I have questions, Robert is always available and goes out of his way to provide answers and get things done. I’m occasionally solicited by other companies who claim to have similar provider management services. My reply is always the same: “No thanks, I’m good.”
